In 2012, she graduated from CUNY Queens College in New York and became a School Psychologist. She worked for eight years as a School Psychologist in public education. As a School Psychologist she focused on the learning and emotional needs of children. Having worked in education, she has an insider’s perspective into the rigor of academic curriculum and the challenges children and their families face.
