About Briana Sarrantonio
Briana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been practicing therapy for over ten years She has extensive experience working with adults who experience both mental health and/or substance use issues. She is currently a Program Director for an outpatient facility treating adults and adolescents with co-occurring needs.
Her educational background includes a Bachelors of Science in Sociology from SUNY Oneonta in New York and a Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University in New York. She is trained in, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Harm-Reduction Approach, Anger Management, Conflict-Resolution Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mental Health First Aid, & Mindfulness-Based Interventions.
Briana engages every person she works with in their own individualized approach. She utilizes evidence-based approaches to assess her clients, and collaborate with them to work together to meet their goals.

Briana is available for virtual therapy appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the evenings.
Costs
Sign up online for a 45-minute therapy appointment. Registration only takes a few minutes. You will receive intake forms to sign and directions for attending the appointment.

Courageous Kids Counseling is an out of network (OON) group practice. As such, fees are due at the time of service. We are happy to help you submit for reimbursement from your out of network benefits. We accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, check, debit card, and credit card, health savings accounts, and flexible health care spending accounts.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that our clients sometimes need to cancel their appointments. Please let us know if you are unable to keep your appointment. There is a full session charge for sessions canceled within 48 hours (except for emergency situations). If you have any questions about our policy, we would be happy to provide more information.
